The Script

As a Team Member F&B & Bar, you are part of the PRESSROOM team at INK Hotel Amsterdam – MGallery. In this versatile role, you will be behind the bar and regularly assist with serving during breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Behind the bar, you bring creativity and craftsmanship together. You prepare and serve cocktails with personality, take care of bar mise en place, and confidently prepare quality coffee. You feel comfortable engaging with guests at the bar and know how to exceed their expectations. Together with your colleagues, you ensure every service runs seamlessly – both on the floor and at the bar.

On the floor, you ensure smooth and attentive service together with the Bar & Restaurant Manager and Supervisors. You take orders, serve food and beverages, keep the restaurant tidy and make sure every detail is just right. You enjoy sharing the story and concept of PRESSROOM and always go the extra mile to create an INKredible guest experience.

With PRESSROOM open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, flexibility is key – and offered in return.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Preparing the restaurant and bar for service;
• Delivering outstanding service and exceeding guest expectations;
• Preparing and serving food, drinks and cocktails;
• Communicating clearly with colleagues, supervisors and guests;
• Managing stock and supplies;
• Having in-depth knowledge of the menu and hotel offerings and actively upselling;
• Managing the restaurant reservation system;
• Keeping the restaurant and bar clean and presentable at all times.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 1–2 years of experience in F&B and/or as a bartender;
• Has a good command of the English language (Dutch is a plus);
• Is flexible and available on weekdays and weekends;
• Can work morning, evening and bar shifts;
• Has knowledge of HACCP principles;
• Enjoys switching between restaurant floor and bar duties.
