The Script

As a Team Member F&B you are part of the PRESSROOM team. Every day you take our guests into their story at the INK Hotel Amsterdam – MGallery. Together with our F&B manager and F&B Supervisors, you will ensure an INKredible experience for our guests.

From breakfast to dinner: you make guests feel welcome. You take orders, serve food and drinks, and keep the restaurant and bar neat and tidy. In addition, you have an eye for detail, you think ahead, and you like to share your ideas with us. Is a bar stool wrong? Then you put it back. Do you see a dirty knife? Then you solve this right away. You are a real go-getter.

As our F&B Team Member, your main responsibilities will be:

• Preparing the restaurant and bar;
• Exceeding the expectations of our guests;
• Communicating with colleagues, your supervisors and the guests to ensure that everything runs smoothly;
• Making sure we have all the necessary supplies;
• Have knowledge of our menu and hotel offers and sell them to our guests;
• Managing our restaurant reservation system;
• Ensuring that the restaurant is presentable at all times.

INK Hotel Amsterdam – MGallery is a luxurious lifestyle hotel and owes its name to the rich history of the building, as the former home of the Dutch newspaper ‘De Tijd’ where stories were conceived, written and brought to life in ink. That is why the INK Hotel is the place ‘Where stories still have to be written’. Our restaurant PRESSROOM is the living room for our hotel guests and locals. We serve delicious dishes prepared by our INKredible kitchen team, and our bartenders create cocktails with their own personal touch.

Does your story fit our wishes? For the position of Team Member F&B we are looking for someone who:

• Has at least one year’s experience as a Team Member F&B in a similar environment;
• Is available full-time (38 hours per week);
• Has a good command of the Dutch and English language;
• Available both on weekdays and weekends;
• Is flexible for both morning and evening shifts;
• Has knowledge and experience with the basic principles of HACCP.
